This is the process to reset the oil change light on a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox
- Turn the ignition to the run position.
- Press and release the gas pedal three times within 5 seconds immediately after the ignition key is in the run position.
- If the “Change Engine Oil Soon” indicator is off then the light has been reset. If it is still on try steps 1 and 2 again.
- Then turn the ignition to the off position and then start the engine. The light should remain off if it is reset properly
