How To Reset The Change Oil Light On A 1988 Chevrolet Corvette

This procedure will reset the change oil light on a 1988 Chevrolet Corvette:

1. Turn the key to the ignition position.
2. Press the “Eng/Met” button and then release it, then press the “Eng/Met” button again before 5 seconds has elapsed.
3. Then within 5 seconds press and hold the “Range” button, until the “Change Oil” light begins to flash.
4. Then hold the “Range” button, until the “Change Oil” light stops flashing and goes off (about 10 seconds).
5. Then turn the key to off and then start the engine to verify that the”Change Oil” light is not on.
