Reset The Oil Light On A 2009 or 2010 Chevrolet Aveo

To reset the oil light on a 2009 or 2010 Chevy Aveo Perform the steps below

1. Turn the key to the ignition position
2. Then press and release the gas pedal three times (within 5 seconds).
3. The “Change Engine Oil” light should go out if it doesn’t do Steps 1 & 2 again.
4. Then cycle the key to off and start the engine to verify the “Change Engine Oil” light is off.
